|
|
Hi.
I have 2 x 9200 Development Kits and I have put new 3.3vdc battery into the on board battery socket.
After setting the date and checking the correct response on date command I power cycle or depress the reset button. Unfortunately the RTC on booting reverts back to Jan 1, 1970 rather than the current time.
Both of my development boards show exactly the same problem. Yes - the batteries are good @ 3.295 volts, and I cannot see why RTC doesn't work correctly.
Please advise. _________________ Cheers. Grahame |

Hello,
just a quick guess but maybe you forgot to do a "clock -w" to write the system Time to the RTC after setting the time using the date command.
This was one of my first errors with the RTC

Hi Stefan.
Your are 100% correct. Funny thing is I have RTFM's several times and I missed this completely. What manual || pdf was this information in?
Again thanks for your kind and timely assistance. _________________ Cheers. Grahame |
